QA Analyst III Menlo Park CA 12 months Overview As an QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features. This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes. Responsibilities Typical Day-to-Day in the role QA testing of new Whatsapp features/concepts (end-to-end + regression) Automation-focused testing and maintaining/expanding automated coverage Reviewing/reading code to understand changes and support debugging Benchmarking / quality measurement to validate performance and detect regressions Using AI agents/tools to speed up bug triage and support bug fixes Owning complex test setup independently (reduce dependency on engineers) Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics is a plus. Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with python, javascript, SQL Must-Have Skills 1. Automation + code reading skills (strong technical QA, can review code and support complex testing) 2. Benchmarking/performance testing experience (define and measure quality/regressions independently) 3. Comfort using AI agents/tools in QA (for triage, debugging, and accelerating test work) Nice-to-have Skills 1 Trust & Safety / sensitive-content testing exposure 2 Experience testing social networking apps (Feeds, creation, interactions) 3. Comfort coordinating with offshore teams (flexible hours for India/Mexico collaboration) Types of Interviews: 1. Technical round (automation understanding, code review/reading, "agent"/AI-assisted work) 2. QA concepts + behavioral round
