Job Summary

SuperATV wasn't born in a boardroom. It started with one mission: build parts that riders can trust. The same hands-on, do-it-yourself mindset still drives everything we do. Our fast paced and casual work environment is highly focused on "Working to Wow" our customers, community, and employees. The Third-Party Product and Portfolio Manager is a critical position responsible for building and managing externally sourced product portfolios across SuperATV, High Lifter, and Side By Side Stuff.
The Third-Party Product and Portfolio Manager identifies product opportunities, evaluates commercial potential, manages third-party products through the New Product Development process, and coordinates the operational work required to launch and support those products. This role owns sales and profitability performance for the assigned third-party portfolio and drives portfolio rationalization decisions across brands, products, and vendors. The position serves as the central link among vendors, Product Management, E-commerce, Marketing, Merchandising, IT, Customer Service, Sales, and internal operations. Success requires strong commercial judgment, analytical capability, project discipline, supplier-management skills, and the ability to move multiple product opportunities from idea through launch and ongoing portfolio optimization.

Primary Duties

* Gather product ideas from internal teams, customers, vendors, market activity, and competitive research. Develop, maintain, and regularly update a qualified third-party vendor list and product-opportunity pipeline.
* Generate new third-party product concepts and sourcing opportunities that support growth across SuperATV, High Lifter, and Side By Side Stuff.
* Evaluate and prioritize ideas based on customer need, brand fit, revenue potential, margin opportunity, implementation effort, and strategic value.
* Manage approved third-party product projects through the applicable New Product Development process from concept and business case through launch.
* Coordinate part-number and item setup requirements, ensuring accurate product, vendor, cost, pricing, fitment, inventory, and ordering information is provided to the appropriate teams.
* Align with E-commerce, Marketing, Advertising, and Merchandising teams on launch timing, product content, positioning, promotional support, and site readiness.
* Develop supplier RFQs, compare proposals, assess total commercial value, and lead commercial negotiations in partnership with Sourcing and other stakeholders.
* Partner with IT and operational teams to determine and implement inventory and ordering feeds, including integrated connections, APIs, EDI, FTP, QuickBooks-based processes, or manual workflows as appropriate.
* Identify risks, remove obstacles, escalate unresolved issues, and drive cross-functional accountability to meet launch commitments.
* Manage post-launch product portfolio and vendor performance, including monthly vendor check-ins, issue resolution, assortment reviews, and follow-up actions.
* Own sales and profitability performance for the assigned third-party portfolio, monitor results against plan, identify performance gaps, and lead corrective actions with cross-functional partners.
* Lead portfolio rationalization by reviewing item, brand, and vendor performance and making recommendations to expand, improve, reprice, reposition, replace, or discontinue offerings based on customer demand, financial performance, inventory productivity, and strategic fit.
* Serve as the primary internal coordinator for assigned third-party brands and vendors, providing clear communication on priorities, decisions, risks, and next steps.
* Support continuous improvement of third-party product intake, evaluation, setup, launch, ordering, and vendor-management processes.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate product opportunities using customer, market, revenue, margin, cost, and operational considerations.
  • Experience developing RFQs, comparing supplier proposals, and participating in commercial negotiations.
  • Familiarity with integrated and manual data-transfer or order-management methods, such as APIs, EDI, FTP, ERP/accounting-system feeds, and manual order entry.
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project-tracking tools; experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales, gross margin, inventory productivity, pricing, vendor performance, and assortment data and convert findings into decisive portfolio actions.
  • Knowledge of ATV, UTV, powersports, automotive aftermarket, and off-road customer needs preferred.

Education / Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 3-7+ years of experience in product management, project management, category management, sourcing, merchandising, supplier management, or a related role.
* Experience launching and managing externally sourced, third-party, private-label, or distributed products in a consumer-products, automotive, powersports, e-commerce, or aftermarket environment preferred.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity.
