POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for cycle counting of inventory at all locations (Main Warehouse, Returns, and offsite facilities), correcting cycle count errors, conducting physical counts requested, troubleshooting, and adjustment of physical inventory. Travels to off-site locations to put away inventory, pull inventory and load trucks. Assists other departments with rolling equipment duties as needed. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and rolling equipment certification. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as inventory records, purchase orders, traffic routing, bindery shipment records, orders, ISBNs, error reports, and to communicate effectively with employees and management. Mathematical Skills: Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Other skills and abilities: Computer skills to include VISTA, WMS, Microsoft Word and Excel. Hourly Pay Rate: $20.37 to $24.99 Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, computer keyboard, scanner or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and work at elevations of 35'. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
