Endodontics - Advanced Education Programs - Academic Programs - UMKC School of Dentistry | UMKC

The UMKC School of Dentistry seeks to fill two faculty positions in the Department of Endodontics at the rank of Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor. Opportunity for ranked promotion is provided.

The faculty will have primary responsibilities in the education and clinical supervision of DDS students in the field of Endodontics. There is an opportunity for additional compensation in clinical practice for qualified candidates.

Required Qualifications

DDS or DMD degree or a foreign equivalent professional dental degree

Demonstrated clinical experience in contemporary endodontic diagnosis and treatment, including root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and management of pulpal and periapical disease, with the ability to teach and supervise predoctoral dental students in a clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of advanced training in endodontics.

Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience and evidence of success in externally funded research. This is a 12-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) non-tenure track faculty appointment, eligible for ranked promotion.
