Technical Communicator, Associate

Your Role

The Healthcare Quality and Affordability Technical Communications team creates and maintains desk level procedures to support HQA staff members, training, and auditing, and business initiatives. The technical communicator associate will report to the technical communications manager or direct manager. In this role you will assist senior writers with completing document requests and independently complete less-complex requests. You will also assist with business analyst responsibilities such as facilitating the intake process, reporting, ensuring accuracy of data, and providing general support for the day-to-day operations.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong writing skills: ability to document process flows and system applications
• Strong technical skills
• Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to learn the skills, internal procedures, standards, and tools needed to satisfactorily complete assigned tasks
• Proficiency with a variety of software applications: Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Standard

• Experience with Information Mapping: FS Pro and/or FS Pro 2020, Lucid, and Service Now preferred

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
