About This Position

Coordinate processing of lockbox transactions via customer checks and money orders. Process accounts payable for Access Corrections. Process refunds and overpayments checks. Scan/deposit all daily Access Corrections daily deposits. Responsible for all Access Corrections daily mail. Maintain and Create New and Existing Excel Reports.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Coordination of Lockbox Program (Money Order and Check Deposit Processes).
  • Money Order and Check Data Entry as Needed.
  • Research and Problem Solving for Issues Related to Lockbox Program and Processing.
  • Processing accounts payable for Access Corrections.
  • Scan or deposit all lockbox batches, Secure Deposit Invoices, Chargeback Payments, and other deposits as needed.
  • Maintain Existing Pay It Today and Lockbox Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Sort, Date Stamp, and Distribute all Mail for Access Corrections.
  • Issue Refund Checks for Lockbox and Chargeback Customers.
  • Research and Reporting as Requested by Facilities.
  • Prepare New and Existing Reports as Requested by Management.
  • Various Other Duties as Assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Associates degree or relevant business and accounting experience preferred.
  • Accounting Experience Preferred.
  • Recent experience with money order and check processing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
  • Solid Organizational Abilities to Manage Multiple Tasks, Priorities, and Deadlines.
