Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Staffing and all aspects of production management that are needed to efficiently run the Dryer Operations and Desiccant Packaging Operations.
• Perform all SAP transactions needed for production reporting and inventory reconciliation activities
• Execute operations plans to help ensure 100% production plan adherence.
• Align work assignments of the team with the planning schedule
• Manage, motivate and develop employees in line with the Clariant principles
• Execute training and development plans for hourly personnel. Ensure skill matrices are created and aligned for all roles. Create and revise all required SOP's, work instructions, and other documents in Intelex.
• Supports/contributes to Quality Assurance, ESHA, and Supply Chain related activities as needed for safe and efficient/uninterrupted production.
• Support efficiency and output results by supporting the techs on shift as needed by actively participating in fixing equipment.
• Ensures compliance with any local, federal or state legal rules and regulation.
• Implement changes to increase production output and increase overall site profitability.
• Employ Clariant Operational Excellence: CPS and CCX. Maintain CLNX (continuous improvement) and Innovation (new product introduction). Perform bi-monthly GEMBA walks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the production manager or site manager.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Process, or Controls Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training; Green Belt certification preferred
• Project Management experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP preferred
