Application Screening Analyst

Harkcon, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting federal missions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to review applications and supporting records for a federal program. The work involves sensitive information, consistent application of written standards, and clear documentation of unresolved issues.

Location: National Maritime Center, Martinsburg, WV.

Key Responsibilities

• Review identity, citizenship or residency, driving history, and other authorized background information for completeness and consistency.
• Identify conflicting records, obtain missing documentation, and refer complex cases for further review.
• Contact applicants or authorized representatives professionally and prepare clear correspondence.
• Maintain electronic case records and route complete screening packages to the appropriate reviewers.
• Meet established accuracy and processing standards while safeguarding personal information.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed written procedures, reconcile discrepancies, and recognize issues requiring escalation.
• Strong attention to detail, written communication, and professional telephone skills.
• Proficiency with electronic records, email, and standard office software.
• Ability to complete required training for authorized information systems and maintain required recertifications.
• Ability to meet applicable customer screening, facility access, information protection, and system access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in federal program support, credentialing, eligibility review, or suitability screening.
• Experience handling restricted-access records or working in a measured production environment.
