Position Type: Direct Hire
Shift/Hours: 1st shift
Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Responsible for receiving, issuing, transferring and maintaining all product inventory. Performs appropriate systems transactions when required to document all inventory movement and keep the associated files up to date and compliant with all applicable Company & industry standards.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives, stores, and organizes incoming materials.
- Accurately records all inventory transactions in SAP and company systems.
- Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliations (preferred).
- Accurately picks and issues (physically and via SAP) parts to manufacturing for new production orders and repair orders
- Picks materials and related documentation (instruction manuals) for customer orders.
- Accurately completes required SAP transactions and then moves customer orders to shipping
- Ensures all inventory movements are accurately recorded in SAP.
- Promotes and models RWMIC Core Values in all interactions and responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
- Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager and/or Materials Management Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of materials handling experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Experience with inventory management systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Proficiency with PC skills and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates cultural awareness, adaptability, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees, customers, and stakeholders representing diverse generations, backgrounds, and perspectives.
- The following physical demands are required:
- Lift/Carry 25+ pounds
- Bend/Stoop/Kneel 4 hours per day
- Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
- Push/pull 50+ pounds
