Bringing Home the Dough TheTerritory Sales Representative (TSR) in the Away from Home (AFH)/Foodservice division plays a crucial role in driving sales in a specific geographical area. Their primary responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with Foodservice Operators and Distribution customers, identifying potential sales opportunities, and meeting revenue and volume targets. To achieve this, theTSR conducts sales visits, provides product demonstrations and distributor sales training, and ensures exceptional customer service to drive business growth. The TSR must possess an eagerness to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to management to support informed decision-making. Overall, the TSR contributes significantly to Flowers Bakeries' success by promoting its products and services and maintaining its reputation in the market. Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities Develops and implements strategic sales plans to maximize revenue generation within the assigned territory, including prospecting, cold calling, and scheduling sales visits Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and challenges to provide customized solutions and foster loyalty Identifies and pursues new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new customers, expanding the company's customer base Possesses in-depth knowledge of the Flowers Bakeries AFH product offerings, including features, benefits, and applications, and effectively communicate this information to customers through product demonstrations and presentations Negotiates customer terms and pricing agreements, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes Accurately record sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline development using CRM and TPM software. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review Stays informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to management to support informed decision-making Provides exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Collaborates with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to coordinate sales efforts, address customer needs, and optimize overall business performance Stas updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends through training programs, workshops, and self-directed learning initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and professional development Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in a similar role (preferable in foodservice) Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required. (65-75% of the week) Experience negotiating customer terms and pricing agreements, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes Ability to build and maintain customer relationships Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Salary Range- 85000 - 90000 We offer a competitive salary up to $90k and an excellent total rewards package.
