Advanced Systems Site Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

What you'll experience

• Manage equipment, tools, spare parts, test assets, and materials-from receiving and storage through tracking, issue, return, and inventory reconciliation.
• Support hands-on equipment setup, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and readiness activities at remote sites and aboard ships.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, packaging, manifests, and material movement with carriers, site teams, and internal partners.
• Serve as a key on-site contact, keeping customers and program teams informed of equipment status, priorities, risks, and issues.
• Work in a variety of settings-including warehouses, docks, labs, and shipboard environments-while following safety, security, quality, and environmental requirements.

What you bring to the table

• A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, science, technology, or a related field.
• Experience with inventory control, logistics, equipment support, field service, testing, maintenance, or similar operational work.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, drawings, manuals, test procedures, and shipping or inventory records.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort using Microsoft Office and inventory, maintenance, or ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with remote teams, travel as needed, and safely work in industrial, dockside, warehouse, or shipboard settings.

What sets you apart

• Experience supporting maritime, defense, Navy, Coast Guard, or other shipboard programs.
• Familiarity with government property, serialized assets, configuration control, controlled materials, or calibration systems.
• Experience with test instruments, quality processes, discrepancy reporting, or customer-facing field support.
• Relevant certifications such as forklift, rigging, hazardous-materials handling, or maritime safety training.
• An active security clearance-or the ability to obtain and maintain one for the assigned program.

• Work is performed primarily at a remote site and may include warehouse, dockside, industrial, laboratory, and shipboard environments.
• Position may require climbing ladders or stairs, working in confined or restricted spaces, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment or materials in accordance with safety procedures.
• Schedule flexibility may be required to support testing events, vessel schedules, shipping deadlines, or operational requirements.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Target salary range: USD $112,924.00/Yr. - USD $125,275.00/Yr.
