The Departments of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Arizona invite applications for a postdoctoral research position in gravitational physics and/or extreme electrodynamics. The successful candidate will join a collaborative research group that includes faculty Sam Gralla and Vasilis Paschalidis, affiliate faculty Paul Anderson, and a community of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. The group also works alongside adjacent faculty, including CK Chan, Dan Marrone, and Chad Bender. We welcome applicants whose research interests overlap with or complement our work in theoretical and computational general relativity, quantum field theory in curved spacetime and background electromagnetic fields, radio and optical interferometry, and compact object astrophysics. not required, that the applicant will also collaborate with other members of the group.
