Description Leidos is seeking a Principal Information Assurance (IA) Analyst to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies. The analyst will be responsible for supporting teams of engineers focused on improving the current DES single service provider (SSP) integrated environment to efficiently scale, deliver, and sustain the DES service offering to the 4th Estate customers, to include measurable efforts with implementing automation, strengthening the cyber security posture, pre-positioning the DoDNet environment for scalability, improved performance, reduced redundancies (flattening the network), and increased efficiencies in sustaining the SSP environment. The selected candidate shall perform (or review) technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) guidelines and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies. In this role, the candidate will ensure that the environments in which DoD information systems reside are secure and compliant, develop approaches to secure the environment, assess threats to the environment, provide inputs on the adequacy of security designs and architectures, perform RMF related activities, and participate in risk assessment during the certification and accreditation process. This position will focus on delivering enhanced network capabilities for the DISA network. These projects may include the implementation of Zero-Trust policies, the migration of network services, modernization of wireless LAN services, and the implementation of IPv6. As the Information Assurance Analyst supporting the teams, the candidate must be able to explain the security policy implications of design decisions, document security compliance for Authority to Operate submissions, and coordinate information assurance submissions with government ISSM counterparts. The successful candidate will lead the cyber security submissions for Engineering projects and they progress through design, testing, and deployment. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
