Description In this role, you will provide direct support to the physicians of the Virtual Immediate Care and patients seen for treatment. Major duties include. but are not limited to: acting as a liaison for patients and physicians assisting patients in accessing service within the health system completing insurance verification facilitating communication with referring physicians and processing referrals referring patients to appropriate resources and providing follow-up through telephone and EPIC/Care Connect Salary Range: $31.88 - $45.66/hourly Qualifications Qualifications: Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities Skill in managing patient inquiries by phone and video and assisting with patient technology challenges where needed Ability to establish and maintain and productive working relationships with Physicians, Staff, Administration and patients from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds. Ability to creatively integrate competing demands into a productive working environment. Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey complex problems in both formal and informal situations. Ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health Ability to facilitate physician scheduling and patient prioritization in virtual environment Minimum 2 years' experience with Epic or comparable Electronic Health Record
