Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The primary function of the Regional Service Technician is to provide direct support to all

branches within the region.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

* Diagnose, isolate, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or software issues

using systematic methods.

* Follow manufacturers requirements in performing preventative maintenance

* Operate and function test equipment to verify machine performance

* Maintain meticulous logs of work orders, parts inventory, asset conditions, warranty and

repair history.

* Support, train, and guide shop technicians on service, safety and best practices.

* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

* 5+ years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical and hydraulic

experience

* High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired

* Will need to provide mechanic's tools of trade

* Excellent trouble-shooting skills

* Ability to prioritize work assignments

* Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments

* Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness

* Working knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements

* Prior floor care equipment experience strongly preferred

* Ability to travel 50-75% - frequently requiring overnight stays

* Ability to travel throughout the region as required

* Excellent communication, organizational and change management abilities.

* Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record history.

* Must own and be able to effectively and safely use mechanic's tools and

equipment

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
