Investigate how human papillomaviruses reshape the cellular environment to persist and drive cancer. The successful candidate will study HPV-host interactions using cutting-edge approaches, with a particular emphasis on single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, engineered human tissue models, and innate immune signaling. We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious scientist who is passionate about performing creative, rigorous, and mechanistically driven research. The ideal candidate will have strong critical-thinking and quantitative skills, work effectively in a collaborative research environment, and communicate clearly through both scientific writing and presentation. Candidates should be eager to develop expertise in virology and cancer biology and to apply state-of-the-art cellular, molecular, and genomic approaches to understand how HPV remodels host cells and tissues during infection and progression to cancer.
