Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM; possible weekend overtime

Job Duties

• Perform mechanical forming using hydraulic presses and tooling.
• Prepare materials and parts for forming operations.
• Safely handle hot parts during operations, including material up to 1,600F.
• Inspect and document straightness, flatness, angles, and other required dimensions.
• Protect customer inventory from loss or damage.
• Maintain strong safety and housekeeping standards.
• Assist other team members and complete additional production tasks as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
• Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Level C - Entry Level: 0-24 months of experience; willingness to learn hydraulic press and metal forming operations.
• Level B - Mid-Level: 2-3 years of metal forming experience with knowledge of heat treating.
• Level A - Senior Level: 3-5 years of metal forming experience with heat-treating knowledge; ability to assist with training junior technicians.
• Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Forming Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
