As an Ecologist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, you'll work with project teams to navigate today's complex environmental regulatory landscape, helping our commercial, institutional, and energy clients to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory criteria. You'll assist in wetland and stream delineation projects, prepare delineation reports, and assist with preparing permit applications. The majority of your time will be spent in the field, with some office work as required.



Qualifications

    BS in Environmental science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, Natural resources or related field;
  • 3-5 years' experience in wetland and stream related work;
  • Strong technical skills for stream and wetlands delineations;
  • Stream and wetland restoration design principles;
  • Restoration and Mitigation planning/permitting;
  • 404/401 permitting experience;
  • MBI/PRM development;
  • Construction oversight;
  • GIS mapping skills;
  • Technical writing skills;
  • Project management and budgeting;
  • Knowledge and experience with SQT.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in related field;
  • TN QHP certificate;
  • PWS Certificate;
  • TN EPSC level 1 certification.
