Position title:
Academic Clinicians in Neonatology
Salary range:
The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $196,000 - $340,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description

The Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics (http://pediatrics.ucsd.edu) at UC San Diego and Rady Children's Hospital (https://www.rchsd.org/) are recruiting exceptionally talented Academic Clinical Neonatologists.

The Division of Neonatology has a well-established ACGME-accredited Fellowship, NIH-funded investigators, numerous ongoing and multicenter clinical trials, and ongoing collaborations with many other centers across the nation and within UC San Diego.

The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the Division of Neonatology's mission of delivering high-quality care, teaching, engaging in scholarly activities, and promoting an environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusivity among faculty, students, and staff.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent or an MD/PhD in health-related fields.

Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.

Candidates also must be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in the subspecialty of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
