General Notes

We seek a part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time (40 hours per week) employee. This position is an On-Campus position.

Purpose

Responsible for travel processing in the Jackson School's Business Services Office.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for travel processing in the Jackson School's Business Services Office. Travel processing includes RTAs, VP5s, and VP2s. As well as processing, travel card payments and other related tasks.

  • Track travel processing from BSO through Office of Accounting.

  • Customer service activities for all travel processes, routine communication, research, monitoring budget, compliance, and compliance documentation. Follow standard operating procedures and communicate travel processes to customers and staff.

  • Provide customer service, keeps management, employees, and clients up-to-date on current policy, procedures and related official information. Track metrics to measure program success through adherence to scope, timeliness, budget maintenance and forecasting, and customer satisfaction. Perform research and develop graphs, charts, spreadsheets, correspondence, reports, and presentation materials as requested.

  • Identify efficiencies in processes and resources to meet customer needs and follow all federal, state, and university processes and guidance

  • Stay current with applicable federal, state and university rules and regulations, interpreting and ensuring compliance. Other related functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with no less than one (1) year work experience performing complex administrative functions and/or program coordination. Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work. Ability to meet deadlines and work cooperatively in a team environment. Professional demeanor. Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online software solutions. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, or similar discipline, and work experience performing complex administrative functions. Experience with University and/or State accounting and travel policies and procedures, demonstrated experience reconciling complex transactions. Time management skills, problem solving mindset, organizational skills, and ability to follow tasks through to completion. Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range

$50,000
