Job Summary

Participates in the delivery and execution of audio/visual materials for Getty programs including exhibitions, orientation theater and live performances. Evaluates and interprets users* needs and project objectives and assists with determination of appropriate presentation medium. Sets up and adjusts audio and visual equipment to meet production requirements. Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Ensures that the style and quality of presentations and live performances are consistent with Getty standards. Experience with sound engineering.



Major Job Responsibilities

    Applies comprehensive knowledge of audio/visual support
  • Evaluates user requests and recommends appropriate means of presentation
  • Plans and implements audio and visual equipment set up
  • Devises methods for organizing equipment inventories
  • Ensures audio/visual services are delivered consistent with Getty policies and standards
  • Maintains knowledge of new technology in the field through ongoing research
  • May recommend changes to policies and procedures


Qualifications

  • AA degree with coursework in audio/visual, video and multimedia disciplines
  • Minimum 5 plus years; audio/visual experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques and procedures
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of policies, practices, trends and information
  • Recognized as a technical resource in entity
