Responsibilities

Our team specializes in implementing Digital Engineering analytical pipelines with a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) front end. These pipelines employ a micro-services-based architecture on a cloud-deployed system (AWS Govcloud) to maximize nation-wide system availability, scalability, data integrity, and security. They support organizations with highly-responsive cutting-edge analytical insights which are helping change how the space domain supports the joint warfighter.

Our operations analysts specialize in employing MBSE data models to represent war fighting information in all domains and at all levels (subsystems, platforms, capabilities, and missions). We're looking for a skilled Operations Analyst with MBSE experience who can provide strategic architecture/design insights for the effective representation in our data models and related Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) capabilities and components.

In this role you will:

    Develop MBSE Systems Modeling Language (SysML) data models which drive the MS&A and facilitate collaboration with government and industry organizations.
  • Collaborate with our software architect, senior developers, senior operations analysts, data scientists, and other leadership to help architect/design interaction of the MBSE data models w/ other critical software capabilities and components.
  • Engage with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) System Program Office (SPO) customer to understand their space protection-related analysis needs and translate them strategically into work products.
  • Dive into research on technical development aspects to ensure data models are accurate.
  • Demonstrate your analytical products to customers.
  • Actively participate in Agile analytical sprint processes and ceremonies.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of professional experience or master's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of professional experience. May substitute educational degree for experience.
  • Space domain experience and understanding of Space Protection mission area, including Indications and Warning sensors and Defense of space-based systems.
  • Relevant joint space warfighting experience in an operational, science and technology, or operational test organization.
  • Exposure to modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
  • Proven track record of engaging with customers, product users, and coworkers to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and desire to challenge yourself and those around you.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required. US Citizenship required.

Nice to have:

  • Cameo Systems Modeler (or similar) MBSE authoring software and SysML (Systems Modeling Language) experience.
  • Experience using both Scrum and Kanban.
  • National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) experience
