Keeling and Associates is excited to collaborate with Tufts University to fill two open Staff Psychologists positions-one for each the Boston and Grafton campuses, respectively. What You'll Do Tufts' Grafton Health Science Campus: Tufts Grafton Student Health Services serves the in-person needs of over 500 professional students on Tufts' Grafton Health Science Campus and supports through virtual means the needs of over 3,000 professional students on Tufts' Boston Health Science campus. The Tufts Boston Student Health Services serves the in-person needs of about 2,500 professional students on the Boston Health Sciences Campus, and supports through virtual means the needs of about 400 medical students engaged in Tufts' Maine medical track, and provides back-up support through virtual means for the 500 professional students on the Grafton Health Sciences Campus. Tufts' Boston Health Science Campus: Tufts Boston Student Health Services serves the in-person needs of over 3,000 professional students on Tufts' Boston Health Science Campus and supports through virtual means the needs of over 500 professional students on Tufts' Grafton Health Science campus. The Tufts Boston Student Health Services serves the in-person needs of about 3,000 professional students on the Boston Health Sciences Campus, and supports through virtual means the needs of about 400 medical students engaged in Tufts' Maine medical track, and provides backup support through virtual means for the 500 professional students on the Grafton Health Sciences Campus. For Both Campuses: The service contributes to the university's educational mission through various activities devoted to prevention, intervention, and consultation related to mental health needs. Boston Student Health Services is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and culturally informed environment. We are a multicultural team with an ongoing focus on deepening our understanding of the intersectional identities of all members of our community. We bring energy and a collaborative approach to the provision of brief, goal-oriented short-term and long-term counseling and psychiatric services. We are also active on campus doing training, outreach, and liaison work, as well as consulting with the Tufts community of students and staff regarding students of concern. Position Summary Each staff psychologist works as an integral member of the student health service team. This position entails the provision of direct clinical services to students, including evaluation and treatment of individuals and student couples, group counseling, crisis intervention, liaison/outreach activities, community consultation, and crisis management. Additionally, clinicians are expected to play an active role in outreach to the Tufts University community and act as mental health consultants to students, faculty, and staff. Participation and presentations in in-service training will be required. This is a 5-day-a-week position that is fully in-person. Essential Functions: * Provides a full range of psychological services to students, including both short-term and longer-term care depending upon needs, in a fast-paced environment. Services include same-day appointments, assessment, and treatment within a short- and long-term care * Outreach and training: Participation in community outreach/liaison activities and programs, the specifics to be defined by the Medical Director or their designee. Participate in relevant meetings on campus where mental health is a topic of interest. Participation in orientation activities for incoming and returning students. What We're Looking For Basic Requirements: * Ph.D. or PsyD in psychology and licensed (or license-eligible) in Massachusetts as a Psychologist Provider. Preferred Requirements: * Three or more years of post-license clinical experience and experience addressing crises in a college or university setting.
