JOB TITLE: Surgical Technologist

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The primary function of the Surgical Technologist is preparation of sterile equipment, instruments, and supplies for the surgery and endoscopy departments. In addition, the tech performs the duties of a scrub technician during the operative procedures as assigned by the OR Manager.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional training as surgical technologist. Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
• BLS certification required.
