X-Ray Tech

The primary function of the X-Ray Tech is that of a professional caregiver who assists the hospital staff and Radiology Department in providing radiology services utilizing the radiologic process. Graduate of a two year American Registry of Radiologic Technologists approved program for Radiologic Technology. Current Radiographer licensure from the state of Louisiana. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current Basic Life Support certification. The X-Ray Tech will also have surgery X-ray responsibilities and be required to take call.
