Men's Club Head Soccer Coach

This position will oversee all on-field aspects of the Men's Club Soccer program. The Head Coach will work with team captains to facilitate practice plans and teach drills. They will manage game strategy, attend every game, and the coach will help manage team dynamics. The coach will also work with the club's executive board, who oversee all scheduling and fundraising efforts.

This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Club Sports and indirectly to all Campus Recreation professional staff members and sport club officers. The Men's Club Soccer team falls under Campus Recreation and is not associated with Athletics.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide skill development for college students and cater to a variety of skill levels
  • To organize safe and appropriate sport sessions
  • To supervise/mentor/guide the participating members of each club
  • Attend all team practices and games
  • Duty to act in an emergency by performing emergency evacuations; provide First-Aid, CPR, AED based on current certification
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in coaching or participating in specific sport
  • Flexible, availability and high level of responsibility
  • High school diploma or GED/equivalent
  • First-Aid, CPR, AED, & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications- must receive within 90 days of starting.


Preferred:



  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
