Vesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders.

Vesta, Inc. is currently seeking an individual to work in the community, home, and our centers in Germantown and Silver Spring locations with individuals and families suffering from mental illness in an effort to enhance their quality of life. Services provided are to be individualized and based upon a detailed needs assessment. This individual would provide services to assist clients with learning and developing independent living skills, social skills, illness management and strategies, and self-care skills. Support is also to be provided to clients with accessing and coordinating benefits, additional services, and community-based resources.


Hours are Flexible: Combination of in-person and virtual services provided to clients throughout the week.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Degree in Health and Human Services field; and/or
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the behavioral health field
  • Valid Driver's License; and reliable mode of transportation
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

  • Facilitating Groups
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients at all times
  • Attention to detail and follow through
  • Strong computer skills, with familiarity to the Microsoft products
  • Able to coach and teach with the purpose to obtain outcomes


Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: Payment will be structured on a fee-for-service basis, meaning compensation will be provided monthly per completed service rather than an hourly or salaried rate.

Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.

PTO/Sick Leave: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked).

Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.

Health Benefits: Fee-for-service employees are eligible for benefits once they obtain full or part-time status. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision (single and family), flex-spending accounts (FSA and Dependent Care).

Company-Paid Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Long-Term Disability and Basic Life/AD&D. All employees are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Other Voluntary Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Short-Term Disability coverage.
