Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Woodbridge Virginia is seeking to hire:

CSS Tech II (Sterile Processing Tech) to join our team in Surgery Administration.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 2 years of recent experience working in Sterile Processing Department
  • Certified Tech (CRCST; or CSPDT)

Hours: Full Time; 40 hours per week; swing/evening shift

Duties:

Responsible for receiving, decontamination, sterilizing, storing, and distributing all instruments handled by Sterile Processing. Assembles and disassembles case carts.

CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing/Distribution Tech) or IAHCSMM (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required.

Job Summary

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - Certification - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - Certification - Other/National SPD Associate
