HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Developer - Telementry processing and apps to join our team at Marshall Space Flight Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Developer will work with the telemetry processing and apps team to support the Payload Operations Integration Center (POIC), the ISS mission ground systems hosted in the Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC).

Education andExperience:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science from ABET accredited institution.
  • Min of five (5) years related experience.
  • Experience in programming languages like Angular, C#, C/C++, and JavaScript. C is a big one, a lot of the code is written in C.
  • Experience with .NET Core
  • Experience with Git (lab)
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and web-based development environments
  • Understanding of relational databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL server
  • Experience with large distributed systems
  • Network programming
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Ability to capture/present technical information.
  • Anything that has to do with automated testing would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile process and containers is a plus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:



  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
