The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is recruiting neurology clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Neuroscience. We seek dynamic clinician-educators to support the inpatient and outpatient clinical practice in neurology within an academic setting. The successful candidate (s) will practice at UCR and/or UCR-affiliated clinical facilities in Riverside and surrounding areas. This includes UCR clinics, affiliated hospitals, including the UCR Multiple Sclerosis Program, which is designated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a comprehensive multiple sclerosis care center.

Fellowship training (in neuroimmunology/ multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular neurology, epilepsy, or another subspecialty) is not required. It is a preferred qualification.

The successful candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree and be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

A minimum of two years of practice post residency training from an accredited residency training program is required.

Applicants must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR affiliated hospitals.

The full salary range for the Physician Specialist-Neurologist is from $118,100 - $302,700 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

These appointments are part-time, up to 50%.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
