Staff Counselor, 10-Months Curry College is seeking an experienced, licensed mental health clinician to serve as a Staff Counselor. The Staff Counselor is a full-time, 10-month, generalist position in the Counseling Center. This position provides culturally competent clinical services and mental health care to meet the needs of the college's diverse student population. The Staff Counselor will promote and support the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the Counseling Center that incorporate equity, anti-oppression work, and social justice principles that support student wellbeing. The Staff Counselor must work within their scope of clinical training, experience and ethical standards of professional practice. In addition, the Staff Counselor assists in other related tasks vital to the department's operation, including developing and delivering campus communications or presentations, outreach programming to campus partners and students, and providing consultations to students and key campus partners, as well as other duties as assigned.
