Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services as directed by a licensed occupational therapist. May work in collaboration with other health care professionals. May provide treatment to individuals or groups as necessary.

  • Identify and prioritize patient problems and notifies Occupational Therapist of areas of concerns with patient response.

  • Responsible for completing basic occupational therapy assistant competencies in addition to departmental specific competencies.

  • Meet productivity expectation for level of care.
  • Provide detailed and concise documentation related to patient care
  • Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Communicate and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.

  • Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Licensed or licensure eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico
  • CPR

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One (1) year related experience
