Description
GAI Consultants is seeking a Construction Technician 1 to perform construction inspection on a variety of Power Generation projects out of GAI's Warrenton, VA or Richmond, VA offices. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting specifications and construction drawings, evaluating site conditions based on soil and rock samples, monitoring and reporting on construction activities, and performing field testing of soils and concrete. The successful candidate will be expected to provide documentation of construction progress through daily reports, status reports, and other forms of data reporting. Job Duties:

High School of Diploma (required)
Experience
5 years: Earthwork, foundation inspection, test boring inspection and concrete testing (required)
Licenses & Certifications
OSHA 10-Hour Construction (preferred)
