Sentara Health is recruiting a Vice President, Consumer Insights!

Sentara Health, a nationally recognized and highly regarded integrated health care delivery system based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Vice President, Consumer Insights.This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and results-oriented executive to join an organization that has been at the forefront as a "model of care." The system encompasses hospitals, a multi-specialty medical group, outpatient clinical operations, and one of the largest hospital-owned health plans in the U.S. The organization is well-respected for enhancing collaboration and accountability for managed care results across financial performance, quality performance, and health outcomes. The vision for the organization continues to be predicated upon the system's deep experience of delivering high-quality clinical care and financing healthcare to address the health needs across all communities served.

The Vice President, Consumer Insights will develop overall consumer insights and consumer research strategy and roadmap. To build customer segmentation models and embed in the enterprise operating model. To design and execute qualitative research studies. To deploy and manage enterprise VOC (voice of the customer) measurements across integrated delivery network. And to enable transformation change agenda with identification of key insights to inform consumer value proposition.

This position can be remote/hybrid from one of these states:

Skills and Knowledge

*Ability to synthesize guide and translate consumer research into strong actionable insights to address business challenges.

*Proven collaboration, strategic thinking, leadership, and influencing skills.

*Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially the ability to explain difficult concepts and insights in applicable business terms.

*Strong ability to summarize insights into (PowerPoint) presentations in clear and understandable calls to action.

*Strong analytical, project, and time management skills

*Ability to create shared alignment around a vision and execute that vision

*Ability to use research, data and insight to understand target audiences, shape strategic thinking and drive tactical execution of the company's vision

*Project management experience including leading project teams, guiding workgroups in broad range of topics and scope, and managing work plans and budget and resources.
