Trident System is hiring a Contracts Manager who will be responsible:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages 2-4 staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Directs and performs lifecycle contract administration from pre-solicitation through post-award phases.
- Administers all types of contracts and/or subcontracts including IDIQs, CPFF, T&M, FFP and LOE.
- Serves as primary point of contact with teaming partners and government officials for contract related matters.
- Meets and communicates with Business Unit staff to understand and anticipate their contracting needs.
- Reviews, prepares and analyzes contract terms and conditions and advises management on issues of concerns and recommended alternatives.
- Ensures compliance with contract reporting requirements.
- Works with Business Units to respond to requests for proposals and quotes. Reviews and submits unsolicited proposal / quotes. Tasks may consist of proposal preparation including RFP / RFQ analysis, pricing, compliance matrix, terms & conditions review, and technical proposal coordination.
- Assists with Export Compliance: researches, coordinates, files and monitors required applications.
- Assists with development, maintenance and negotiation of Company contractual agreements.
- Assists with development, maintenance and implementation of department policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies.
- Maintains Government Property Management.
- Performs special projects as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- 6 - 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Previous management experience in leading teams is required
- Ability to multitask and work effectively, independently and with others ensuring timely completion of diverse assignments and meeting established quality standards
- Shows a history of ownership, initiative, and the ability to stay organized in a multitasking environment
- Strong organization skills, to include attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with executive-level internal and external parties during periods of high stress and tight deadlines.
- Ability to exercise discretion in the handling of confidential information
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access.
- Knowledge with Export, ITAR, FAR, DFAR
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Accounting Software, preferred
- US Citizenship Required.
