This is a visiting faculty position within the Division of Medical Physics and Engineering. Appointment will be at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in medical physics or a related field. They will work on projects including AI-driven image reconstruction, image registration and image segmentation. The candidate will apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve challenges in today's image-guided radiation therapy, including real-time low-contrast liver tumor localization, automatic structure segmentation for on-line adaptive radiotherapy, and real-time MRI motion estimation and reconstruction. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
