JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Raimundo lab at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania is seeking a postdoctoral scholar who will be working in projects related to mitochondrial and lysosomal biology in the context of aging. Together with the PI, they will design experiments and analyze data. They will be responsible for carrying out the experiments (with training, when necessary) using the lab protocols or otherwise agreed methods, and to keep a record of their activity and data according to the data policy of the lab/institution. Experience in imaging (including image analysis) or iPSC is advantageous. The project involves cultured mammalian cells, iPSC differentiation and mouse models, and often relies on in omics (transcriptomics, proteomics, lipidomics, metabolomics) data to generate or test hypothesis. This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire. Employment will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance withUniversitypolices.
