JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg, School of Business Administration, periodically has part-time openings for instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Excel, Management Information Systems across the curriculum.

These openings are one semester and non-tenure track with the possibility of reappointment.

Job Duties
  • Part-time instructors typically teach one to three courses per semester on campus related to undergraduate Information Systems.

Successful candidates must be able to work effectively with diverse populations and audiences. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises. Candidates should upload a Curriculum Vitae (CV)/resume and a letter of application indicating area(s) of interest. In addition, candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested.

Requirements and Qualifications Required Qualifications
  • Earned Master in Information Systems, Master in Business Administration, or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excel Certification
  • College-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
