Primary Responsibilities

HDR is seeking an organized and creative Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our Water Business Group in northern California.

In the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:



  • Writing, designing, developing, and producing marketing/pursuit materials to our clients that showcase our brand, our people, and our strengths of experience in documents and graphic presentations.
  • Develop, research, coordinate, layout and produce proposals, graphics, presentation and other marketing collateral materials
  • Write Non-technical text including creation of boiler plate materials, documents and reports as needed to support projects and pursuits
  • Review, edit, and proofread all proposals and marketing materials
  • Maintain and update database including pursuit and contract information (CRM), proposals, resumes, and project descriptions
  • Interface with internal project/client managers, marketing team, technical staff, and subconsultants in the development of pursuit materials and client submittals
  • Organizational skills, understanding of marketing processes, management of processes, and attention to detail
  • Production work including compiling, binding, and manually preparing documents and reports for client submittal.
  • Coordinating tradeshow, conference participation, client events, and public involvement events.
  • Develop internet/social media content and profiles to support marketing efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, business/,marketing, English, graphic design or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, national, technical managers and project staff
  • Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
  • Requires little or no direction in area of specialization
  • Must exhibit proficient technical computer skills, advanced knowledge of communication theory and basic layout and design principles
  • Proficiency in InDesign and MS Office suite
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Demonstrates understanding of market and public relations
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $66,066.00 - $94,380.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
