As a Civil Engineer in this role, you will be involved and directly impact the following project types:



  • Department of defense projects for various agencies (USACE, Air Force, Space Force, Navy).
  • Technology projects in the field of manufacturing along with data centers.
  • Solid waste and wastewater facility improvements.
  • Solar, battery storage and substation projects.


We'll count on you to:



  • Lead or assist with preparation of construction documents
  • Work with junior, mid-level, and senior engineers of various disciplines to complete engineering assignments.
  • Develop unique solutions to solve problems encountered during design.
  • Develop and work within budget and schedule.
  • Prepare plan drawings, technical specifications, design documentation reports, bid quantities, and construction cost estimates.
  • Modify plan drawings and coordinate with AutoCAD Drafters and Civil3D Designers. Will be required to prepare designs Civil3D.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • Perform site visits to confirm field conditions.
  • Perform engineering assignments that require critical thinking and creativity to address unique elements that have limited or no specific code-based guidance.
  • Perform other duties as needed.


Preferred Qualifications



  • BS degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5 years' minimum experience in land development site/civil or related projects
  • Good leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the United States on an as-needed basis.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in general civil engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Proficientand demonstrated applied experience with CAD civil engineering software such asBentley Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms(e.g., Openflows) as required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $78,540 - $127,500 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
