Lab Aide- Laboratory PRN, Second Shift

Status: PRN

Shift: Second

Job Summary:

May perform waived and moderate high complexity testing according to CLIA '88 guidelines;interprets and reports results for established tests in Microbiology. Performs quality control, qualityassurance and maintenance. Works independently but under the supervision of the departmentcoordinator or a certified technologist/technician. Duties include clerical tasks, specimen collection,
accessioning and processing of specimens. Answers phones, relays patient results and monitorsexpected/outstanding logs.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
