Schedule: Full or Part Time Hours Available Monday - Friday, some holidays

Full Time employees supporting contracts for the Federal government that are covered by the Service Contract Act (SCA) earn fringe benefits according their Wage Determination. These fringe benefits include medical, direct primary care, dental, vision, retirement, short term disability, life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, holiday, jury duty and, under some Wage Determinations, the employees are eligible for sick time.

We Are Seeking



  • A high-energy, positive thinker
  • 1 year previous custodial experience preferred.

  • A candidate for Janitorial crew may be disqualified if they have a criminal record for illegal drug use or sale, financial fraud, identity theft, physical abuse, crimes involving violence and/or theft.
  • This AbilityOne program qualifies for the Schriever SFB transportation per diem benefit based on average miles from home to work.


In This Role You Will:



  • Work with a team
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect
  • Vacuuming/Shampoo clean carpets
  • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
  • Mix various cleaning agents
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
  • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
  • Apply wax to coat floors and buff
  • Stripping and top scrubbing floors
  • Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
  • May move heavy items such as furniture
  • Identify and report possible repairs
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours
  • Help provide a safe working environment for you, customers and fellow employees

Background Requirements:

1. Access.



  1. Access to CUI/FOUO should be limited to U.S. Nationals that have either a current U.S. security clearance (minimum interim SECRET clearance) or have been the subject of a favorably completed National Agency Check with Inquiries (i.e. Standard Form (SF) 85 Position of Trust investigation) or equivalent investigation (i.e. contractor equivalent).
