A Brief Overview Responsible for the management of Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and nursing/ancillary staff if applicable. In collaboration with the Nursing and Clinical Care Services Department and Division/Department leadership, the APP Manager provides oversight of Advanced Practice Providers which may include CRNP, PA, CNM and/or CNS roles. The APP Manager will serve as a leader in the field ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice. He/She will support development and implementation of the role within the specific Division and in alignment with institutional values and goals. Leadership includes but is not limited to maintaining APP competency, supporting evidence-based practice, the development of system to ensure and improve patient care as well as efficiency and productivity. He/she will also foster and support the participation in professional development and involvement in scholarly activities that contribute to the discipline and/or specialty practice area.
