JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Undersea Materials Technology Prototyping Department in the Sonar Research and Development Division of the Undersea Systems Office within the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking Part-Time Engineering Support Specialists to assist with various laboratory activities which may include some or all of the following:
An Associate's degree in a technical field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in a science, technology or engineering field is preferred. Prior experience in mechanical or electronic assembly required. The successful candidate will work approximately 24 hours per week. This position could be filled in State College or at our Electro-Optics Center in Freeport, PA. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Employment with the ARL will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
