The Nurse Manager facilitates the realization of the organization#39;s mission, strategic plan, and values at the point of care. The Manager plansfor, leads, coordinates and facilitates the provision of quality care and service for a defined population of patients and facilitates the procurement of appropriate supplies/equipment and provides for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver nursing care. The Nurse Manager demonstrates excellence in problem solving, leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility and teamwork. The Nurse Manager provides leadership, consultation and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary teaching environment. Theycollaboratewith administrators and other members of the health care team to design, evaluate and improve patient care systems and processes. They supportnursing professional development, Magnet, and Shared Governance through participation in, and mentoring of colleagues, on councils and the Clinical Ladder program. Key Responsibilities:
