The 2nd Shift Process Engineer is primarily responsible for design, development, implementation and support of assembly, test stations and other equipment to drive improvements in safety, quality and productivity in DTCs global manufacturing operations. The preferred hours for this 2nd shift role are 4:00pm - 1:00am, although we do have some slight flexibility here. This position will work closely with the software, process and quality engineers to review requirements and implement test and machine controls for production machinery.Through application of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, lead and facilitate the continuous improvement of methods and technology to reduce the time and material impact of test while improving upstream assembly controls for better quality products. The person in this role will contribute to developing and driving DTC's equipment performance, developing/advising on DTC's Manufacturing initiatives, as well as working with manufacturing teams on improvement efforts for day-to-day operations.
