Description

LaForce is looking for Installers in three of our locations, Green Bay, WI, Madison, WI or Indianapolis, IN. Our Installers are responsible for pre-installations of door hardware as well as installations of commercial doors and frames on a jobsite.

Major Responsibilities



  • Install doors, frames, and hardware at the end user or new commercial construction site
  • Receive, understand and execute work orders
  • Follow specifications for the adjustment or replacement of existing material, installation of new material and disassembly and removal of material
  • Operate various power and hand tools both safely and skillfully
  • Represent the company professionally to satisfy immediate customer needs to foster return business
  • Must be able to accommodate flexible work hours. Occasional travel may be required with the position



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 1 year of carpentry and/or construction experience
  • Commercial door, frame, hardware installation experience is a plus
  • Degree from a trade school or college is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and customer service skills
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, wiring diagrams and blueprints is required
  • Valid Driver's License
