What you'll gain:

As an EHS Intern,
you will gain knowledge and understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety
practices through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning
opportunities include:

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assisting in identifying
potential hazards and supporting the implementation of safety measures to
mitigate risks in the workplace.

Compliance Monitoring: Monitoring compliance with
environmental, health, and safety regulations, and providing solutions to
ensure continuous adherence to standards.

Incident Response: Responding to and assisting in
the investigation of safety incidents, including root cause analysis and
the development of corrective actions.

Safety Audits and Inspections: Conducting safety audits and
inspections to identify areas for improvement and support the maintenance
of a safe work environment.

Training and Awareness: Supporting the development and
delivery of safety training programs and helping raise awareness of EHS
policies among employees.

Sustainability Initiatives: Assisting in researching and
implementing initiatives aimed at reducing the company's environmental
footprint and promoting sustainability.

What you need to be successful:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field
related to the internship
Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Basic project management or organizational skills.

Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a
team.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Availability:
Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12 weeks
for a summer internship
Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered
