Resort Driver (On-Call)

The courtesy car driver is responsible for transporting the guests via golf cart, sedan, SUV, 15 passenger van and Sprinter shuttle vehicles on and off property.

Responsibilities:

* The courtesy car driver is responsible for transporting guests via golf cart, sedan, SUV, 15 passenger van and Sprinter shuttle vehicles on and off property.

* Must be able to communicate to guests about the Del Mar, Solana Beach and La Jolla area.

* Must have basic knowledge of San Diego County, including restaurants, shopping areas, attractions and freeways.

* Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement preferred.

Qualifications and Skills:

* High School graduate or equivalent

* Experience preferred

* Must have ability to communicate well both verbally and written. Reading and counting is essential.

* Must have a valid California license and clean driving record.

* Ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays

* Ability to sit/stand for periods of time

* Frequent reaching/bending/heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

* Excellent communication and guest service skills.

* Must have a basic knowledge of the San Diego area including directions to areas of interest, restaurants and suggested local attractions.

* Ability to work outdoors

* Special License and Certification - Commercial driver's license with Passenger endorsement strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

* All colleagues must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per The Grand Del Mar grooming standards.

Rate of Pay:$16.85/hr
