Position Overview

Hourly/Non-Exempt position with direct responsibility for supervision/coordination of a house of students. Due to the responsibilities of the position campus residency is required. Meals are included while school is in session and use of on campus amenities. Duties include:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Building a supportive and inclusive community within the residential setting
  • Creating and implementing dorm protocols that assist in the development of life and social skills
  • Enforcing school policies to ensure a safe and conducive environment consistent with program goals and expectations
  • Providing mentorship, guidance, and emotional support to students
  • Addressing any conflicts or concerns that arise among students in a timely and effective manner
  • Serving as a knowledgeable resource and liaison for student families
  • Partnering with academic team to support the ongoing academic development of assigned students
  • Assisting with emergency procedures and crisis management as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of student interactions, incidents, and any necessary documentation
  • Collaborating closely with other staff members, teachers, and administrators to support the overall mission of the school
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to working with students in a residential setting.



Essential Competencies and Personal Qualities

  • A high school diploma is required, Bachelor's degree is preferred.
